When you place your order for a banjo, I ask for a $400 deposit that is non refundable once I start your banjo.
I ask for a second $400 payment when the banjo reaches the rough set up stage. Rough set up is when the neck is carved and has finish coats along with the rim, the dowel stick is fit to the neck/rim and the fingerboard is ready for fretting.
The remaining balance is requested upon completion of your banjo.
I am a one man band, so a completion time can vary from 3-6 months. In some cases more than 3-6 months is required if it is a specialty item that I don’t regularly produce or if I find the banjo not to be right in some way. After rough set up a banjo is generally two weeks to a month from completion.
Please do not send more than $400 each for the first and second payments.
Thank you,
Brooks
