Banjo #267

This banjo is a 12" 16 shoe Spartan model. The peghead overlay, fingerboard and rimcap is highly figured Birdseye maple. The rim and neck are clear rock maple. The fingerboard has a brass plate to the 7th fret, then it's fretted to the 17th fret. The dowel stick was a mistakenly made for a walnut neck about 30 banjos ago, it went perfect for this banjo so I used it. Yes there are 2 #267 banjos out there now...  This banjo is headed to St. Augustine, FL
