Banjo #356

Bringing old neglected banjo rims back to life is a favorite thing to do in the shop. These rims usually show up without hardware, so they get new hardware and a custom tension hoop. Stretch a goat skin and they sound better than ever.
This is a 10.5” 1890’s rim, with a 22” fretless walnut neck. The amount of volume you can get out of a 10.5” rim is surprising. This little banjo can easily hold its own in a jam. It headed to Atlantic Mine, MI.
