This is a 12” 30L silverspun with a Whyte Laydie tone ring. In 1890 Fairbanks introduced the “Electric” model. Which had the scalloped brass ring clad in nickel silver. This is my somewhat beefed up version of those banjo rims. This banjo rim uses thicker nickel sheet and has a two ply maple rim that’s 3/8” thick. This banjo shipped to Los Angeles, CA.
